Oscar Health is the company above the insurance, not the insurance itself. Three businesses sit under it, Oscar Insurance, Lucie and Trove, each with its own brand and its own audience, and the parent site is where they have to add up to something. Nobody buys anything there. It exists for investors, press, future employees and partners, people who want to know what the company is before they decide anything.

A parent brand has no product of its own to show, which is the difficulty. The site had to introduce three brands without flattening them into one another, and state a position clearly enough to be worth repeating. The new brand position arrived resolved, so the work was the system that carries it: the components, their states and behaviour, the motion that holds them together and the documentation that lets a developer build them without guessing.
