Talento a Bordo is how Iberia backs Spanish talent. It works as a content platform of interviews and features spanning sport, gastronomy, film, design and science, from Olympic athletes on their way to the Games to artists nobody has heard of yet. We designed its first version, and six years later the platform had outgrown it: far more content than it was built for, and a reading experience that had stopped keeping up.

The brief was a refresh rather than a rebuild. The editorial codes stayed, since they were what let a reader move between an interview, a feature and an event without relearning the site each time. Everything around them changed: a much stronger visual layer, and a navigation rethought around the volume the platform had reached, so that years of accumulated stories became something you could actually move through. Coming back to your own work after that long is a useful exercise, because it shows very clearly which decisions held and which ones the site had grown out of.
